Grown-Up Titans: New Netflix Adaptation Surprises Fans

We all feel a bit apprehensive when Netflix announces a new adaptation, but this time prepare to be awed. Titans sets a new high of how superhero shows should be like. [ Trailer ]

When I heard Titans was getting their own live action series on #netflix I got super excited even after all the bad criticism Starfire got from the fans, also all the hate the trailer got from almost everyone. Regardless of all the condemnation the show was getting before it even aired I was still dying to watch it.

The programme starts off with some of the characters dealing with their own problems which causes them to form the group. The story-line is one very known to all Teen Titans fans, Raven's father is trying to get to her to execute his evil plan while everyone is trying to help her.

If you think this is gonna be a kids show then you're totally wrong, It's a very dark and edgy take on the original Titans we all love. Robin ( Brenton Thwaites ) and Starfire ( Anna Diop ) are much older than the others while Raven ( Teagan Croft ) and Beast boy ( Ryan Potter ) are teenagers. If you're confused why isn't there a Cyborg, then that makes both of us! In season 2 perhaps?

The adaptation gives us some background stories from the characters, we even get to see a bit of Hawk Man and Hawk Woman on the series as they know Robin and are trying to help Raven.

In my opinion the series was better than I expected, good character development, nice story-line and crazy twist at the end, the holy trinity of good series right? I can't wait for a new season to see what the creators have in-store for us.
